Whitefish Christian Academy is a classical Christian school that strives to educate children excellently while honoring God in all things. 2012 Kicks off new marketing campaign - Invest in Me!
WCA is excited about the incredible changes going on at our school. In an effort to get the word out, we hosted an Ice Cream Social, featuring Sweet Peaks, last month and had several interested families attend. This month starts off with a new billboard, located in Happy Valley on the east side of Highway 93. You can see it when you are driving toward Kalispell, on the lefthand side of the road in the Midway sales lot, right at Hodgson. In addition, we are once again in the Whitefish Winter Carnival Parade with our float in the theme of "Fiesta Pescado Blanco" - that's "Party in Whitefish" for all you gringos out there. If anyone wanst to help on the float, Kiersten Alton is leading the PTF crew this year (again), so please contact her soon. The parade is the first Saturday in February.
Valentine Blessing Kick off!
This week marks the beginning of our 19th Annual Valentine Blessing. This fundraising and community service event takes place until February 14th. Students visit local retirement homes and deliver delicious Valentine's Day gifts to all the residents. These bags are sponsored by people like you! While the focus of this event is community service, its is also a significant fundraiser for WCA. Students will be awarded prizes for their fundraising efforts, including individual and class prizes. Our goal is to raise $15,000. We ask each student to set a personal goal of $150.
